Who we are. PasteLens is an independent software project. Contact: [email protected]. Governing jurisdiction: India.
This website. The PasteLens website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts, and makes no third-party requests. The bug and security report form does not submit anything from this page: it composes a message in your own email app for you to send, so the site itself collects no personal data from visitors. It is served by Cloudflare Pages, our hosting provider, which keeps standard security and access logs as part of delivering the site.
Contacting us. If you email [email protected], that message is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing and read in Google Gmail (our email providers). We use your message only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed for support.
The extension. PasteLens (the browser extension) is designed so that nothing you paste leaves your device. Detection, redaction, your custom dictionaries, and the audit log are all stored locally in your browser. The audit log is metadata-only (time, destination site, action, per-category counts, regime tags): never the pasted text. For Pro users, the extension validates a licence key with our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, sending the key and receiving a valid or invalid status only, never your content. On the free tier it makes no network requests at all. There is no telemetry.
Your rights. You may request access to, or deletion of, any personal data we hold about you (in practice, only support correspondence) by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes. We’ll post any changes to this policy on this page.
